About 'The Rock-its Party Band' and
'The Rock-its Duo/Trio'

Sarah and Tim have worked together for many years – they are both teachers and have delighted in sharing their knowledge and passion for the performing arts with students over many decades. They formed 'The Rock-its Duo' in 2019 so that they could share their love of musical memories and performance with a wider audience. 'The Rock-its Party Band' came along in 2022 offering an altogether more upbeat vibe featuring seasoned professionals Ben on drums, Steve on guitar and Helen and Cait on vocals,

 

The band performs in a wide range of styles, from ‘easy listening’ classics to wedding favourites and party anthems, from war time standards to contemporary floor fillers - their playlist is extensive!

 

Band members have performed professionally over several decades in venues as diverse as Fred Olson Cruise Ships, Ronnie Scott’s Club, Lichfield Cathedral and Symphony Hall. They have also performed on Television and Radio and feature on several album recordings.

'The Rock-its' / 'The Rock-its Duo/Trio' are available to entertain in a variety of venues – large and small, indoors and outdoors - such as hotels, churches, pubs, care homes and community centres. They can cater for a huge range of events from weddings (ceremony and/or reception) and other family gatherings to all manner of community functions and corporate events – their programmes are highly flexible and can be bespoke. If you are looking for an easy listening, relaxed, smaller venue feel, you need 'The Rock-its Duo', if you'd like something more upbeat and altogether louder then 'The Rock-its Party Band' will fit the bill.

For the whole band music and performing is a passion – being able to share this with others is all important to them. For some, music is a way to release energy - for them it is a way of life.
